Parent of a junior, quote taken from Badminton England article

My company ethos is based on inspiring a love of sport and the emphasis is on fun, enjoyment and building a foundation of excellent skills that will last a lifetime and bring many years of activity, friendships and team spirit to those who participate at SMASHIT.

I love my job and it is really important to me that I excel at it, I go above and beyond to make sure everyone here at SMASHIT feels included and welcome. I am constantly thinking of new ideas and concepts to make all my sessions fun, varied and engaging. I look forward to welcoming you at my sessions!

My biggest achievement in my badminton career would be bringing back 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the International Vancouver Junior Cup when I was 12 years old. I have also medalled in Poland, Denmark and Germany.

I worked with Badminton England on a project to promote coaching membership, I talk about my experiences and also about Smashit, check it out on Badminton England's FB page:

Playing badminton and coaching has taught me so much about myself and others, people learn in different ways (personally I am a visual learner). I have a strong self discipline and have learned that hard work pays dividends and success.

I have met some amazing people along my journey, I love coaching and watching my players improve and build positive memories which they can take with them in later life.

Vancouver Junior International 2008

In 2008 I played in my first international tournament in Vancouver. I won the girls singles, girls doubles and runner up in mixed doubles. I had an amazing experience playing in another country and met some great people.

Danish Junior Cup 2010

I represented England in Denmark and had a fantastic time competing with the team. I got to the semi finals in the girls doubles and England came 2nd in the team event,
